About this Blog
We are bombarded with marketing that tells us that we should look ultra lean, ripped, and tan. We’re also told that the way to achieve that physique is to “kill” ourselves with exercise that we hate and avoid carbohydrates like they’re poison. The goal of this blog is to translate the latest research on exercise to help filter through marketing and societal exercise myths.
The latest exercise research brings good news. Achieving health and fitness goals doesn’t have to be a horrible experience that we avoid at all costs. Living a physically active lifestyle can be ENJOYABLE and FUN!
It’s time for a new paradigm surrounding our exercise and fitness attitudes and behaviors. With current research and a new framework through which we view exercise, we can inspire motivation, enjoy activity, and thrive. When we move often, our bodies come alive, and we reap the benefits in each dimension of our wellness.
With this blog, I aim to facilitate a community of people who support each other in their exercise and health related goals. If you are interested in learning how to make exercise a part of your lifestyle and being supported in those goals, you are in the right place. Welcome!
